We will compete in the PeeWee Rec division, which is ages 5 to 8 years old.

 

SPECTATOR ADMISSION FEE

$8.00 per adult

$4.00 for children ages 5 to 12

children 5 and under are free.

Admission wrist bands will be sold at the door. 

 

FOOD & BEVERAGES

Food and beverages will be available for purchase throughout the competition.  Outside food or beverage will not be permitted.

You can preorder:


-Tickets ($7 preorder. $10 at the door. ages 5 and under are free) CHEERLEADERS DO NOT NEED A TICKET.

 

-DVDs ($15) - these will be distributed a few weeks after the showcase

 

-Flowers ($10) - these you pick up at the flower table AT the showcase

 

-T Shirts ($15 preoder. Prices go up the day of the showcase and there will be limited sizes that day) - these will be distributed AT showcase. Although this is optional, the girls usually wear the T Shirt to school on Monday after the showcase.

 

-Shout outs ($1 each. PREORDER ONLY). These are boosters that are printed in the program book and distributed on the day of the showcase to the audience.

THE TEANECK ARMORY/SOCCER COLISEUM IS LOCATED AT: 1799 TEANECK ROAD, BETWEEN LIBERTY ROAD AND WARD PLAZA.

THERE IS PARKING ON BOTH SIDES OF THE BUILDING. 


*    Arrival time for RV Cheerleaders is 8:00am. Cheerleaders shall enter and meet their coaches through the Liberty Road Entrance. If you are volunteering at Showcase in any capacity, you will arrive at 7:30 to help set up. You must have a ticket even if you are volunteering.  Be sure to hand in your ticket at the check in table. Please wear a maroon River Vale shirt to the showcase if possible. 

 

*    Parents who are not volunteering, as well as Spectators, MUST enter at the front door on Teaneck Road at 8:30am, NOT BEFORE. FOR SAFETY REASONS YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ENTER BEFORE 8:30 IF YOU ARE NOT A VOLUNTEER. 

*    If Parents and Spectators do not have a ticket, they will be for sale at the door for $10.  Children 5 and under are free. THERE WILL BE A SEPARATE LINE FOR THOSE WITH PRE-ORDERED TICKETS.  
  
RIVER VALE PARENTS AND SPECTATORS SHALL SIT IN THE BLEACHERS MARKED WITH RIVER VALE'S BANNER (THE RIGHT SIDE IF YOU ENTER THROUGH THE FRONT)   THAT IS THE DIRECTION OUR SQUADS WILL FACE FOR THEIR PERFORMANCE. BECAUSE THE ARENA IS PRIMARILY USED FOR SOCCER, THE NETTING BETWEEN THE BLEACHERS AND THE PERFORMANCE AREA CANNOT BE REMOVED, SO TAKING PICTURES CAN BE DIFFICULT.  WE WILL ALLOW THE PARENTS OF THE SQUAD PERFORMING TO COME DOWN TO THE ROPED OFF AREA TO TAKE PICTURES DURING THAT PERFORMANCE ONLY.  PLEASE ENTER AND EXIT THAT AREA IN A QUIET AND TIMELY MANNER.

 

PHOTOS OF THE CHEERLEADERS AND SQUADS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE DURING AND AFTER THE SHOWCASE.  THE PHOTOGRAPHERS WILL LET YOU KNOW WHEN THE PHOTOS WILL BE READY.  THEY WILL ACCEPT CASH AND CREDIT CARDS ONLY.

  
*     A "Step & Repeat" will be at the rear/right area of the arena for smaller, "candid" shots during the course of the showcase. 

*    Action shots of the performances will also be taken by our photographers.  You will be able to preview these shots after your child's performance.
 
*    Pre-ordered T-shirt orders have been placed. They will be handed out after the showcase, along with medals.  If you haven't pre-ordered a t-shirt, there will be a table set up for  t-shirts available for purchase.  Please note that there will be limited size quantities available. The cost of the t-shirt at the Showcase is $20.  


*    We will be capturing the Showcase in it's entirety on DVD.  In addition to the pre-orders we have received, we will be taking DVD orders the day of showcase. Coaches will be contacted after the Showcase when DVDs are available for pick up.  

*    We will have Flower Bouquets for sale at the Showcase.  In the past they have sold out very quickly.  If you have not pre-ordered flowers and would like to purchase at the Showcase, please do so upon arrival.  Once they sell out, we will not have anymore available for purchase.  

 

If you have pre-ordered a bouquet, please go to the flower table to pick them up upon arrival.  All pre-orders will be checked off when picked up.  Please provide the volunteer with the name the flowers were pre-ordered under. THERE ARE NO BALLOONS ALLOWED IN THE ARENA.

*    There will be cheer jewelry, cheer wristbands, custom cheer bows from Wild Bows, Team Color Poms for spectators, and 50/50 raffle tickets for sale.

*    Our concession stand will be open from 8:30am-12:00pm which will have coffee, bagels, baked goods, cold drinks, hot dogs, candy and other snacks available for purchase.  NO FOOD OR DRINKS SHALL BE ALLOWED ON OR AROUND THE MAT AREA OR ON THE TURF. PLEASE KEEP FOOD AND DRINKS IN THE STANDS OR AT CONCESSION AREA. NO OUTSIDE FOOD IS ALLOWED IN THE ARENA.

ALL PARENTS AND SPECTATORS SHOULD REMOVE THEIR TRASH, CUPS, SNACK WRAPPERS ETC. WHEN THEY ARE LEAVING THE STANDS. 
 
Remember, this is a showcase, not a competition.  We must be courteous and respectful to all our squads as I know how hard the coaches and each and every girl has worked to get here.  We want this to be a fun, exciting, and memorable experience for the cheerleaders and their families and friends.

Team arrival and check in: 8:00 am **please be on time**

  • enter through the doors marked "cheerleaders & coaches". one of us will be there to collect your daughter. Then you must walk to the main spectator entrance. 

 

  • attire:

-hair in a high pony tail with bows facing forwards

**USE A BLACK HAIR ELASTIC under the bow. colored ones will be visible.**

-skirt/vest

-black underarmour/turtleneck 

-bootie shorts

-white no show socks

-clean, white sneakers

-***NO JEWELRY*** except medical identification bracelets. IF YOU SEND YOUR DAUGHTER WITH NECKLACES, BRACELETS, EARRINGS, ETC. IT WILL BE REMOVED AT CHECK IN.

-***NO NAILPOLISH***

-all eye glasses must be sports goggles

-NO unnatural hair color (no colored strips, extensions, etc.)

 

Please pack a simple, portable snack, and water. Bring hairspray and a brush if you can.

 

Competition start/welcome: 9:00 am

Performance time: approximately 9:38 am

Awards: approximately 11:25 am

[If you would like to stay for the afternoon session, our senior squad is performing around 12:40pm. You are responsible for supervising your child after our awards ceremony.]

 

There are 4 squads in our division (Pee Wee Recreation):

1. Hunterdon Huskies

2. RiverVale Raiders

3. DelVal Junior Terriors

4. Flemington Pioneers

 

All squads will get a medal. Only the FIRST PLACE team will be announced.
